Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes

I love chocolate, and I know I am not alone!  This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy chocolate!

What you Need:
4 squares BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate or 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup  (1 stick) butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
6 Tbsp.  flour
Whipped Cream and berries for garnish

Make It:

1.  PREHEAT oven to 425°F. Butter four 3/4-cup custard cups or soufflé dishes. Place on baking sheet.  I have also used a muffin tin instead of the soufflé dishes – this works great, but reduce the baking time to 11-12 minutes!

2.  MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until butter is melted. Stir with wire whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar until well blended. Blend in eggs and egg yolks with wire whisk. Stir in flour. Divide batter among prepared custard cups or muffin tin compartments.

3. BAKE 13 to 14 min. or until sides are firm but centers are soft. Let stand 1 min. Carefully run small knife around cakes to loosen. Invert cakes onto dessert dishes.

4. SERVE immediately.  Jazz it up with whipped cream and berries (raspberries are my favorite for this recipe).  You can even add a dusting of powdered sugar to make it look more gormet!

Today’s Favorite:  City Earrings – Charleston

Miami * Toranto * New York * Charleston

I have to admit, I really like the jewelry I make! My favorite designs change from day to day.  Today, my favorite earrings are these Charleston City Earring.

I recently made several new pairs of my City Earrings.  These are one of my more popular designs, and I love playing with new color combinations.  I especially like the colors in the Charleston earrings.

When naming each pair of City Earrings, I think about the images  that come to mind when I think of a particular city and match those images to the colors of the earring.

When I think of Charleston, I think of the brightly colored row houses along the waterfront.  The bright coral of these earrings reminds me of the hues of paint used for these houses.
