My favorite thing about summer is being off work! I’m an Elementary Music Teacher so I’m on summer break – and still getting paid! Actually, waking up without using an alarm clock is probably the thing I like the most – oh, and drinking coffee on my porch in the sun!

There are a few things I like a bout Summer. One is that my Husband’s birthday is at the beginning. Then mine is at the end. But in the months in between it is a time for more relaxation. something we both need.

The giveaway earrings are awesome! I love to show my pride in America by wearing patriotic shirts. If I win I can be that much more patriotic. My favorite thing about summer has to be trips to the beach. There is something so relaxing about the sun and the surf!

I love swimming in lakes and rivers. I would swim everyday if I could! Pools aren’t the same, even in summer time – natural bodies of water are the way to go!

I love the beach in the summer – complete with the salty smell of the salt water, ice blocks, sunscreen and a gorgeous tan from the blazing sun…
